Claudius Stemmler is a film and media scholar and is currently doing his doctorate at the University of Siegen on the Japanese video game designer Hideo Kojima. He has previously published articles in anthologies on a variety of topics including the Call of Duty video game series and jazz singer Billie Holiday.
